Personality
Despite the most dignified of natures as well as a cover-up, our thieving feline is most disrespectful. Although a thief himself, he takes notice of the whole 'peasantry', 'middle class', and 'aristocratic' social ranks. In other words, everyone is a peasant, and he himself is practically king. So it is actually somewhat normal to be called such a thing. Alongside this, he is most sassy- not in a stereotypical manner, but anything you say will likely earn some sort of clever retort.
Simply to make matters worse for you; he's clever. Oh Glen Ballard is most certainly clever, and this fits most well with his position as a thief. But you'll learn more of that with the 'history' part of this biography. Nevertheless! Onto the actual subject of his manner of acting~! He is, as mentioned before, most intelligent. This makes you typically wrong when talking to him- and most ideas of your own are either put to shame or tossed aside, simply because he does, indeed, despise being wrong.
Upon getting somewhat closer to him, however; you may find that (although annoying at times) he can be a good enough friend. Lover? not so much- and he has little interest in things along such lines, but friend? Very so! On one hand, annoying (as you mentioned)- but if you don't mind posing as the 'asisstant' of this false private detective, and have the ability to not get caught in the act of burglary, he is most certainly; an interesting figure. Though of course he likely wouldn't leave you under the circumstances something goes wrong.

Interests
Naturally, one has interests. So as natural as this; Glen Ballard is no exception to what is known as 'ccuriosity in a peculiar subject'- which we all possess, although the subjects may greatly differ. Glen Ballard in particuliar, is classy in tastes. Fine wine over whiskey; a preference to the most exotic foods rather than the common. He very well fits the term 'aristocratic'- and although a thief, he lives most like one. This includes fine clothes, however- comfort is more important to he, but coats ranging from black to a dark navy are personal favourites. The same goes to cravats and scarves- though they're much lighter coloured, or matching.
As a thief, and once upon a time; a murderer, he also has a certain aspect towards art. Art, as in, the art bodies of any sort possess. Perhaps you could turn the old, broken down figure of the bloody and beaten into something much more brilliant- and after all, when you were once nicknamed 'The Mockingbird' anonymously, he did enjoy doing so. The original trademark was a mockingbird stuck in the victim's mouth- a brief addition of detail, that is. So fittingly, human anatomy and art are other things that transfix him. An artist he is himself, too- though mainly in humans and architectural structures.

History
With due respect, Glen Ballard's history was most avid. Originally, when he was much younger (merely around the age of ten, mind you) he formed battle tactics. Although never used, he did occasionally earn a few pounds from other creatures; which had their own personal wars, but such tactics worked without regard of supplies. Keep in mind that such pounds were given in large amounts- too! But naturally, this would result in already peaking down the long road.
So he resulted in a murder.
Originally it was accidental; a burglar had broken into his rented room, threatened him with a knife, so Glen acted upon instinct. Gutted the poor bloke though, he did; and then this was before the 'mockingbird' signings started. The owner of the building was framed, and upon 'learning' that he had killed someone, he left for the next city. But such a rush of adrenaline could not constantly be given to him by mere pickpocketings and secret meetings.
So he did it again; this time, a bit more publicly. The mockingbird trademark was used, and the bird was placed tenderly within the victim's mouth. That case, and multiple others, were yet to be solved.
But you know, perhaps Glen Ballard thought for a moment; that taking one's life, especially an innocent's, was not quite the best way to go about living. So thieving ensued. Thieving and posings of a private detective, that is. Currently he is known as the 'frosted thief'- although his eyes are more of a strange mixture of yellow, green, and blue; apparently that was the closest they could come with his 'name'. Castroval's most notorious yet hidden thief also has other titles, too- each hinting brief flashes of appearances, though they're too small to be actually noticed. This would include 'The Red Dragon'- the more popular between the 'Frosted Thief', and although fitting in some circumstances, perhaps his liking towards money fits well with it.
Faceclaim is Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes in the BBC series 'Sherlock'.
Nicknames are copyrighted to me, however 'Red Dragon' references Thomas Harris's first book, Red Dragon, as well as Smaug from The Hobbit; who is a gold-hoarding dragon.
